Where Can You Eat On Spectrum Of The Seas
I am back on a cruise again this year. What’s different from last year is that I’m traveling with 17 relatives this time, including my 97-year-old grandma.
This is the first time I’m taking so many people on a cruise together. Right now, I’m feeling a bit excited and nervous. Nervous because I don’t know how high my aunt’s expectations are for the cruise, and whether they will have a great time during this 6-day, 5-night journey.
But in this video, I’ll first introduce the kind of delicious food we can find on the ship. I hope these videos will be helpful to those of you who are considering going on a cruise.
So, let’s talk about the food.
On the ship, there are over ten different places where you can enjoy various cuisines, and some of them are included in your cruise package. That means you can eat as much as you want without any extra cost.
At the Windjammer Buffet, you can savor a variety of dishes, including Chinese, Western, and Indian cuisine. They also offer tea, coffee, beverages, post-dinner fruits, and desserts. You don’t need to wait in line to enter, and since it’s quite spacious, finding a good seat is easy.
In the main dining area, you’ll have a menu, and you can order whatever you like from it. Although there’s a menu, you can order as much as you want until you’re satisfied.
The 270° Cafe mostly serves salads and sandwiches. In the sports center, there’s a hot dog stand offering classic American hot dogs and salads.
Except for the 270° Cafe, all these places serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
But they’re only open for lunch and dinner.
If you feel like having a late-night snack, you can head to the Café Promenade for delicious pizza. Of course, they also offer free coffee, tea, and beverages.
There’s an ice cream parlor on the deck where you can enjoy tasty vanilla or chocolate ice cream by the pool. They even have some unique flavors.
If you don’t want to eat the above-mentioned food, you can visit the specialty restaurants, which come with an additional cost. There’s Izumi, a Japanese restaurant. Wonderland is a theme restaurant inspired by Alice in Wonderland. The food here is special, even though the portions are small, it’s really delicious. Even I got full.
Another restaurant is called Chops Grille, specializing in steaks. If you don’t eat steak, you can have their fish and chips.
For those who love Chinese food, there’s Sichuan Red. They have a teppanyaki restaurant where the chef prepares your food right in front of you, adding a bit of entertainment to your dining experience. If you’re in the mood for Italian cuisine, you can go to Jamie’s Italian.
If you don’t feel like leaving your room, you can order room service, but it comes with a small service fee.
There are also many cafes and bars on the cruise where you can enjoy some drinks, but those are not included and will require payment.
